NUGGET!
NO dogs, NO cats, NO kids ( I am not aggressive at all; just a sweet, but anxious girl.)
A nugget. A small piece of a fine metal, usually referred to when talking about gold. Hi there!! My name is Nugget, and I am your missing piece of gold. I am looking for my perfect partner in life. I am 2 years old and about 35#. I am the definition of a nugget; little, but full of so much value. Are you retired, elderly and looking for a perfect friend, or someone that prefers to be alone, yet would love a fur companion? Well, then I’m your girl!!! My early story is not known, but something made me an anxious little girl. Now, please don’t let that deter you from choosing me, because there is so much more to me than that. When a gold nugget is found, it’s often found in the dirt and rubble or mixed in with substances that are not beautiful, so let’s touch on some of those things, so that I can then show you where I really shine. While I have an anxious personality, it is manageable, and I thrive in the perfect environment for me. I am doing so amazing in my foster home, but I want to find my forever home. The perfect home for me would be one where there are no other dogs, kids, or cats. I am not aggressive in the least, but I just get very nervous and then am scared, so I am looking for a quiet home where it can be me and my human(s). Whew! There, I said it. Just saying it out loud made me a little anxious, but I know that I am so much more than those things, so I am not worried about saying them out loud. It might seem like a tall list, but it truly isn’t when you find out all the amazing things about me, so let’s talk about where I really shine!! I am learning to speak positivity into my life. I heard someone on the TV say that, and it sounded good, so that’s what I am doing. I am fully potty trained, and I completed a 14 week obedience course. This wasn’t because I needed to learn obedience skills, but it was just to learn some more about my anxiety and to give me the chance to socialize in a very controlled environment and then give my foster human ideas of things to work on with me. I am super obedient, and my main goal in life is to just please you and love on you. I love chewing on my bones and getting belly rubs. While I do absolutely AMAZING in my crate, I can also be left out of my crate for hours and not touch a single thing. I truly am the most loving, sweet, and genuine little thing that you will ever come across!! A true nugget that is hidden in the rough. Will you be the one to see the gold that is hidden inside? I sure hope so, because it’s been you I’ve been waiting for this whole time, so while you head over and fill out my application, I’m going to keep refining myself so that I can show you the unbelievable value I will add to your life when you bring me home.
