I agree to the following while fostering a dog through UnbreakaBULL *

I AGREE to care for and love ANY foster dog placed in my care by UnbreakaBull.

I AGREE to provide my foster with proper diet, exercise, basic training and house training.

I AGREE to join UnbreakaBull Page on FaceBook for foster tips and communicate with the rescue on behaviors I witness while the foster dog(s) is in my care.

I AGREE to take the foster dog to vetting appointments. I understand that is my responsibility to obtain prior authorization for vetting needs of the animal while in my care. I understand that all vetting appointments need at least a 24 hour cancellation notice.

I UNDERSTAND that I may receive an unaltered foster dog in my care. I AGREE to work with UnbreakaBull on obtaining proper vetting with the foster dog while in my care.

I UNDERSTAND that all pre-approved vetting expenses will be the responsibility of UnbreakaBull.

I AGREE that if I take the foster dog to a non-approved vet appointment and/or a non-approved vet clinic, I will be responsible for the charges.

I UNDERSTAND that UnbreakaBull will supply basic supplies for the foster dog. I UNDERSTAND that if I purchase additional items for the foster, these items will be at my expense. Fostering supplies may be tax deductible.

I AGREE to keep my foster dog on a non-retractable leash while out doors at all times.

I AGREE to NOT take the foster dog to a Dog Park of any kind.

I AGREE to provided current pictures of the foster while in my care.

I UNDERSTAND that all potential adopters must be screened and approved by the Executive Director of UnbreakaBull. I UNDERSTAND that my input will be requested during this process and that the final decision is for the rescue to make.

I AGREE to alert UnbreakaBull personnel of potential adopters that may contact me directly by phone, social media or email.

I AGREE to the following protocols if I have children in my home:

I will not leave the foster dog and the child(ren) unsupervised at any time.

I will not leave high value toys or treats out for the foster when children are present.

I will not feed the foster dog in the presence of small children or other pets.

I will alert UnbreakaBull of all behaviors witnessed while the foster dog is with the child(ren).

I UNDERSTAND and AGREE to the Two Week Shut Down process provided to me in writing by the rescue. I AGREE to abide by all protocols of this process and will report to the rescue when the shut down process is completed.

I AGREE to have a UnbreakaBull assist me with properly introducing my resident dog and foster dog.

I understand we wait 7 days to put new dogs on our website and PetFinder. Once the dog is placed on sites, they are available for adoption. If they get an approved application, the foster cannot adopt at that point. If the potentional adopter meets the dog and decides not to adopt, the foster then has the option to adopt again.

I UNDERSTAND that as a foster, I am held to the same standard as others if I choose to adopt my foster dog, including satisfying the adoption fee.

I UNDERSTAND that I must give the rescue at least 3 business days to find an alternative home if for any reason I need to return the foster dog.

I UNDERSTAND that if my foster dog goes missing I must IMMEDIATELY call the director of the rescue via phone at: 612-916-9999 (Sara).

I have received, read and UNDERSTAND the foster expectations and guidelines.

I agree to accept all responsibility for any events that may occur as a result of fostering an animal(s). I acknowledge that there are inherent risks with animals, including but not limited to: bites, scratches, bruises, and/or property damage.

I agree to hold UnbreakaBULL Pit Bull Rescue harmless for any injuries to people, pets, or any loss or damage to property and agree to abstain from any legal recourse against Unbreakabull, its board members, employees, volunteers, etc.

I acknowledge that UnbreakaBULL Pit Bull Rescue cannot guarantee foster animals against parasites, diseases, or destructive behavior. I will not hold Unbreakabull responsible, nor seek any compensation for damages, medical fees, or other liabilities incurred by my foster pet to myself, my property, or my resident animals.
