Raider is an American Bully with an incredible mix of energy, intelligence, and snuggle-ability. He’s fresh off a 6-week board & train program where he’s made huge strides in impulse control and channeling his toy drive. Raider is looking for a forever home where he can be the center of attention, get plenty of playtime, and have structure that will allow him to thrive.
If Raider had a resume, it would look something like this:
Training Superstar: Raider is no stranger to training - he’s had extensive training in obedience, impulse control, and many dog sports. He is potty-trained, crate-trained, e-collar-trained, and muzzle-trained and knows commands like sit, down, stay, shake, and place. He is even treadmill-trained! Raider’s house manners are fantastic when he’s the only dog in the home, and he thrives with a handler who will continue building on his skills.
Toy-Driven Athlete: Raider loves to retrieve — whether it’s a frisbee or ball, this guy will chase it until he drops. He’s especially talented at frisbee and would love a future home where his adopter plays disc with him for fun or even competitively.
Balanced Boy: Indoors, Raider has a beautiful off-switch. He’s more than happy to snuggle up on the couch for a cozy TV binge. He truly watches whatever is on TV too - his favorite movie so far is Raiders of the Lost Ark, hence his name. His human couch companion is in for a treat too because this boy has some of the softest fur ever, making for 10/10 snuggles and pets.
People-Lover: Raider loves people and has had nothing but positive interactions with every human he’s met (unless they’re clipping his nails, but who can blame him?). He can be a bit over-excited so any small humans in the home should be prepared for 70lbs of bouncy love. His sweetness and love for humans are some of his best qualities.
In the past, Raider has been hit or miss with other dogs — he’s not reactive at all, but can be unpredictable when directly interacting with dogs, so he needs to be the only dog in the home for his peace of mind. He mostly keeps to himself around other dogs and is much more focused on the human (and/or toy).
Raider would thrive in an active home where he can be the focus of attention! He would love a family committed to keeping him physically and mentally stimulated, whether through disc sports, fetch, or other toy-based activities. His current foster is having A LOT of fun playing toy-related impulse control games with him.
Raider is truly the perfect mix of energy, intelligence, and affection, and he’s ready to find his perfect match. Could you be the one to give this amazing dog the loving home he deserves?
