Miss Kylie is an enthusiastic little love bug! She’s about a year old and a very petite 30 lbs. She was a bit unsure of men when she first arrived but has grown much more confident as she’s gotten to know her temporary fosters. She still takes a little time to warm up to new people, but that’s just her way of making sure you’re safe.

She really just wants to love you and is learning how to show it in a respectful way. Kylie can be a little mouthy and jumpy when she first sees you, but she’s picking up on redirection very quickly! She’s incredibly smart, eager to please, and so badly wants to be your best friend—she’s learning that sometimes, less is more!

She’s crate trained and loves her kennel! Because she came from a hoarding situation and then was stuck in the shelter for weeks, it’s best to keep her boundaries small at first and on a routine so she can continue mastering potty training. She’s learning how to let you know when she needs to go out, and she’s starting to figure out that barking at you is a pretty effective way to communicate!

She really wants to be the best girl—and she will be! She just started from square one when she entered rescue, so she’s right on pace with any dog learning things for the first time.

She absolutely loves chew toys, stuffies, and treat-based games.

Kylie would make a great introduction to pitties—she’s got all the lovable pittie personality wrapped up in a small, manageable package!
