Figgy is a sweet and loving teeny tornado! Coming to us after experiencing some kennel stress at PUPS, she has been nothing but affectionate and energetic. She’d make a fantastic walking — and possibly running — partner with her endless energy. Once she has a moment to meet someone, she warms up quickly and gets so excited! She knows sit, is very treat motivated, and will thrive with training as a way to work her brain and burn off extra energy. She gets along with resident dogs and the resident cat, always trying to get them to play — the senior cat is rather confused by her attempts.

Figgy isn’t a large dog and would do well with older children. She has a tendency to jump up, so smaller children would need supervision, though this could improve with training.

She does great being kenneled throughout the day but will cry when it’s close to mealtime. Figgy has no idea how a slow feeder bowl works, so a standard dog bowl is all she needs.

Once she’s spent her energy, she’s happy to gaze at you with loving eyes and soak up some snuggles and pets.
