Miss Cassidy is an enthusiastic little love bug! She’s about a year old and on the petite side, weighing in at around 40 lbs. Cassidy loves people and is besties with her foster dad! She’s become much more confident as she’s settled into her foster home. She really just wants to love you and is learning how to show it respectfully.

She can be a little mouthy and does jump when she first sees you, but she’s learning redirection very quickly! She’s so smart and eager to please. Cassidy is great about knowing her routine and follows her foster brother’s cues with just about everything.

She’s very well-behaved in her kennel. Because she came from a hoarding situation and then was stuck in the shelter for weeks, she's still working hard on her potty training but has come a long way, she just needs to be on a routine! She’s learning how to let you know when she needs to go out, and she’s starting to figure out that barking at you is a pretty effective way to communicate!

It’s best to keep her boundaries small at first, as she will find a spot to sneak off and go if given too much freedom. But with time and continued effort, that will resolve. She really wants to be the best girl—and she will be! She just started from square one when she entered rescue, so she’s right on pace with any dog learning things for the first time.

Cassidy loves chew toys, stuffies, and games with treats. She REALLY loves bones. She’s happy to chew on whatever you give her and thinks no matter what it is, she just won the lottery—LOL!

She’s very eager to play with other dogs and would do great with an easygoing male friend. Kids 8 and older would be best, as she’s still learning that jumping and being a bit mouthy isn’t the right way to play with humans—so slightly older kiddos are the better fit for now.
