Wow! What a difference a few months can make!! Hi there, my name is Armstong, but my foster parents call me Arnie. I’m about a year and a half old and just 35 pounds. You can consider me fun sized! The place I came from was not very nice, and didn’t treat me well, so I’m a bit apprehensive around people at first, but the last few months I’ve learned how to love and be loved again.

Couch cuddles are my absolute favorite thing in the world. If you lay down with a blanket, you better cover yourself quickly, because I’ll be looking to snuggle. When I’m outside running in the yard I’m best described as a total goofball. I love to find random toys, throw them around and then run away. I love sticks of all shapes and sizes.

I am my absolute best self with another dog around. They bring me so much comfort and immediately my anxiety just melts away. My tail starts wagging, and I’m ready to play. I love a good game of chase, and will wrestle with my foster brother as long as he will let me. Once he let’s me know it’s time to stop, then the puppy cuddles commence.

While I still can be apprehensive around humans sometimes, I warm up quickly in a calm environment, or with another dog around. I will be quick to give some hand kisses and take treats from your hands. My foster parents have worked hard to develop strategies to make sure I know that I’m safe when trying new things. I’m great with dogs, cats, and kids. I’m crate trained and go to my crate well at night when it’s time for bed. With the exception of an occasional accident while playing, I’m an absolute pro with potty training.
